The Client

Village Building Co creates residential and mixed-use environmentally sensitive living estates.

VBC's key focus when developing each major self contained estate is to maximise the sense of community for people living within the estate. Residents are encouraged to participate in community events. Most estates incorporate open spaces, parkland, boardwalks, ponds and bike paths.

The Brief

To create products that will promote the Village Building Co brand and reinforce its key messages of community, security, family and the environment.

The umbrella
- A practical communication tool

Much like VBC's award winning homes, the umbrella produced for them by BrandNet is both practical and stylish. A constant reminder that VBC have got you covered both inside your beautiful new home and outside when the weather turns.

Executive style name badges
- A reflection of Village Building Co's own values

When asked to create name badges for VBC key staff BrandNet chose to create a fully customised executive style name badge. Customised badges take a little longer and are made from the highest quality materials and of course are unique to your business, just like the homes VBC will build for you will be of the highest quality and uniquely yours.

'Crackers' colouring book and pencils
- all about families and communities

Crackers is VBC's mascot and like VBC Crackers is very interested in preserving the environment and creating a great community for your family to live in. The Crackers colouring book was designed as a giveaway piece for children to learn about what it would be like to live in a VBC community, illustrating the basics of recycling, water preservation and solar heating. Each page in the book is designed as a tear out that can be labelled with the child's name and put up on the fridge, a gentle reminder of how great living in a VBC community could be.
The Crackers Colouring book comes with a set of 6 natural wood pencils packaged in unbleached cardboard, convenient for car trips or to keep in your handbag for when busy little fingers need something to do.

The pen

BrandNet chose a bright yellow pen for VBC, a classic promotional tool, the pen is an accepted reminder of a business message lasting much longer than most items, due to its practicality, and a yellow one will definitely get noticed!
